Again on the still unsolved problem of urban mobility, I was considering skates but was sort of abaist because of cobblestones, as almost all the roads I have to cross daily are paved in cobblestone.
Then, looking at the TV show "Dog whisperer", I noticed that Cesar Millan uses some big skates to go around with his dogs. Looking for something on youtube about Cesar Millan skates, I found this:
These skates are called skikes and can be used also for light offroad trails. So I suppose they should work wonders on cobblestone too. In all the videos I've found, Skikes are always used with poles. I wonder if they may be used also like normal skates. If so, they could be the right answer to my urban mobility dilemma.
