Homemade dumbells, looking good and easy to make.

As already stated here, I love homemade workout equipment.
I've always used jerrycans filled with sand as dumbells, they work great.
But on Youtube I've found this video about homemade dumbells.
This solution allows to use a bar, and not the jerrycan handle to swing the dumbell.
And using 8x1,5 litres bottle gives you a 12kg dumbell if you use water, and an approx. 19kg dumbell if you use sand. Not bad at all!
The blue bottle dumbell of the video looks good too, maybe to have a stronger dumbell it would be better to use that silver ultrastrong tape, especially if you're planning to make something heavy using sand or gravel.
Simple things work best!
