Pumpabike!

I'm always interested in every kind of human-powered vehicle, and I've tested myself some strange machines. Anyway, this is probably one of most inspiring things I've seen around:


The Pumpabike! A human-powered hydrofoil! I've never seen them round here, I suppose that they're projected for calm waters and you couldn't use them on the river. This is the website with technical specs and lots of pictures:

The two models look slighty different, but the basic concept seem to be similar. It looks superfun, and seems to provide an excellent cardio workout too, cause if you don't jump it sinks, so you have to jump fast!
